The Phoenix Open has reached a new level degeneracy.
Fans at the WM Phoenix Open are some of the wildest at any golf event in history. They are second to none. Fans at the 2026 open event created a viral moment that led to something even more spectacular.
Years of this event have brought insane action and content. A few years ago, a woman openly flashed multiple times during the event. By then, things had gotten so out of hand that the local police department had to do something.
In 2019, the Scottsdale Police Department had a “Know Your Limits” tent. It allowed people to blow into a breathalyzer to determine if they were too drunk to drive.
Just earlier this month, streamer Jack Doherty received a lifetime ban from the PGA Tour. It came after he was kicked out of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. His behavior was attributed to him paying a spectator $100 to shout “Jacka$$” during Mackenzie Hughes’ backswing.
That wasn’t the only thing that went down at the Phoenix Open.

The 16th hole at the Waste Management Open is for fun. It’s the perfect setting for harmless entertainment. That famed 16th Hole is the most exciting hole on the PGA TOUR. It is famously known as “The Coliseum” and has always been the most raucous and iconic hole on the PGA Tour.
For the 2026 tournament, the stadium received upgrades. The fans in attendance surely took advantage of it.
One video from the event showed fans noticing a woman in a green dress. Many of the male fans began gesturing towards her as they chanted, “Green dress.” At the time, the woman had a drink in her hand. She acknowledged the crowd by speaking to another woman in a green dress at the Phoenix Open.
Then, the ladies would suddenly embrace each other with a kiss. The crowd went insane over it, but the ladies weren’t done. They would then chug their drinks and received even louder applause.
In the end, “green dress” held up her empty cup after chugging it.
