Taylor Swift may be one of the world’s biggest music stars, but Travis Kelce recently shared a sweet story showing that his young nieces once saw her simply as “Taylor Swift.”

During the September 16 episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis talked with his brother, Jason Kelce, about the first time Jason’s daughters met Swift.

The Girls Called Her “Taylor Swift”

Travis explained that Jason’s four daughters initially used Swift’s full name whenever they spoke to her.

Instead of calling her “Aunt Tay Tay,” the children would say things like “Taylor Swift” when talking to her or asking her questions.

Jason jokingly remembered how his daughters would repeatedly use the singer’s full name, even though everyone around them knew her personally.

Becoming Aunt Tay Tay

Travis said the family eventually had to help the girls get used to calling Swift by a more familiar name.

The children are now connected to Swift’s family through her marriage to Travis.

Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, have four daughters: Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finn. The girls also had a special role at Travis and Taylor’s wedding, serving as flower girls.

A Sweet Family Connection
