    As the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0quarterback prepares for his upcoming 10th season in the NFL, Randi penned a special\u00a0tribute\u00a0to Patrick on social media on Wednesday, June 10.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThese years in the NFL have flown by, but watching you step into your purpose and chase your dreams has never stopped feeling special.\"\ud83e\udd0d\",\u201d Randi began in the post alongside a carousel of seven photos of their family, including Patrick\u2019s wife\u00a0Brittany Mahomes.<\/p>\n

    \u201cLooking back through these photos just reminds me how far you\u2019ve come and how much heart you\u2019ve put into every single season. I am so proud of the man you are, on and off the field. Here\u2019s to your 10th year!,\u201d Randi continued. \u201cTo years of dedication, resilience, doing what you love, and to many more chapters ahead! I love you!\u201d<\/p>\n

    Chiefs fans showed their support on Randi\u2019s post and shared their excitement for the upcoming season. \u201cIt\u2019s been a great 10 years We\u2019ve loved following the journey and cheering for\u00a0#15\u00a0and the Chiefs,\u201d wrote one fan.<\/p>\n

    NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that the Chiefs added two more seasons onto Mahomes\u2019 contract, tying him to Kansas City through the 2033 season at a value of $504.75 million. This is the first NFL deal valued at over a half-billion dollars, according to\u00a0ESPN.<\/p>\n

    Mahomes, who has played his entire career with the Chiefs since being drafted in 2017, is set to return to the field in 2026 after tearing his ACL last year.<\/p>\n

    An exact date for the quarterback to return to the field has not yet been made known, but\u00a0conspiracy theories\u00a0began swirling that he\u2019d be ready to go when the season started after the schedule showed the Chiefs playing two primetime games in the first two weeks.<\/p>\n

    Fans assumed that the primetime scheduling meant the league had inside knowledge that Mahomes would return, but the NFL shut down that rumor in a statement to the\u00a0Associated Press\u00a0on May 15. \u201cWe didn\u2019t know anything more than anyone else,\u201d said NFL executive Hans Schroeder.<\/p>\n

    In 2024, Randi recalled a young Patrick being her \u201clittle best friend\u201d as a kid. \u201cWe were together 24\/7, and I learned with him. He made me grow up in a good way, in a great way.
