PROVO, Utah<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Hundreds of family members, friends, firefighters, neighbors, and community supporters gathered to pay their final respects to\u00a0Provo Fire Captain Spencer Long<\/strong>, his wife\u00a0Katrina Long<\/strong>, and their three sons,\u00a0Reid Vernon<\/strong>,\u00a0Thayne Long<\/strong>, and\u00a0Gage Long<\/strong>, following the devastating flash flood that claimed their lives during a family hiking trip in\u00a0Wayne County, Utah<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The emotional farewell included a memorial service and a firefighter procession, with first responders from departments across northern Utah lining overpasses and streets to salute one of their own.<\/p>\n
