The family of a former beauty queen has announced her unexpected death, two years after she was crowned Miss American Fork 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brynn Carnesecca has been remembered as a \u201cbright light\u201d by loved ones, with friends and members of the pageant community paying tribute following the announcement.<\/p>\n

Her family has not publicly disclosed a cause of\u00a0death.<\/p>\n

Brynn\u2019s cousin, Kassidy Jackman Murdoch, launched a\u00a0GoFundMe campaign\u00a0after her passing, sharing a heartfelt message on behalf of the family.<\/p>\n

According to the fundraiser, donations will help cover funeral expenses, support the family as they grieve, and contribute toward creating a memorial in Brynn\u2019s honor. At the time of writing, the campaign had raised nearly $17,000 toward its $20,000 goal.<\/p>\n

Family remembers Brynn as a \u201cbright light\u201d<\/h3>\n

On the GoFundMe page, Kassidy wrote, \u201cBrynn Carnesecca was more than just my cousin- she was a bright light in our family and community.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs an accomplished pianist, journalist, and the creator of Envelopes of Hope, Brynn dedicated herself to sharing stories and spreading kindness. Her passion for helping others was evident in everything she did.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur family is heartbroken by Brynn\u2019s unexpected passing.<\/p>\n

She added that the family hopes to create a memorial that \u201ctruly honors Brynn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brynn earned the\u00a0Miss American Fork title in 2024 through the Miss Utah\u00a0Scholarship Organization, which provides scholarship opportunities while serving as a pathway to the statewide Miss Utah competition.<\/p>\n

Remembered for her kindness and service<\/h3>\n

The Miss Utah Scholarship Organization also shared a tribute, saying Brynn \u201cbrought so much light\u201d to its programs.<\/p>\n

The organization praised her \u201ckindness, friendship and service,\u201d while extending its thoughts and prayers to her family.<\/p>\n

In addition to winning Miss American Fork 2024, Brynn received the Miss Congeniality Award at the 2025 Miss Utah competition.<\/p>\n

The honor is voted on by fellow contestants and recognizes the participant who has had the most positive impact on those around her.<\/p>\n
