While the pop star, 36, has her own pad in Manhattan, a source told Rob Shuter in the Friday, July 3 edition of his Naughty But Nice Substack that she and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, \u201cdon\u2019t want to live in \u2018Taylor\u2019s house.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey want a home that represents their marriage,\u201d the source explained. \u201cEvery room, every decision, every memory should belong equally to both of them. They\u2019re starting this chapter as partners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor loves her place, but it reflects the life she had before Travis became her husband,\u201d a second source noted. \u201cThey want to walk through the front door and feel like they\u2019re entering a home they created together\u2014not one person moving into the other\u2019s world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sources told Shuter that the couple has been touring downtown neighborhoods for the right space.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t about buying the most expensive address in New York,\u201d a third insider said. \u201cIt\u2019s about finding the place where they\u2019ll celebrate holidays, host friends, raise children, and build a marriage. Every decision is being made together.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is their fresh start,\u201d the insider added. \u201cThey\u2019re not building Taylor\u2019s life or Travis\u2019s life anymore. They\u2019re building one life \u2014 together.\u201d<\/p>\n
