Veteran actor James Handy has died at the age of 81 following a tragic incident outside his Los Angeles home. Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with his death: his girlfriend\u2019s son.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to\u00a0TMZ, police responded to a 911 call at Handy\u2019s residence in the neighborhood of Tarzana, Los Angeles. Officers discovered James Handy stabbed and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he later died. He was stabbed multiple times in the chest.<\/p>\n

A 44-year-old man, identified as Michael Gledhill, was taken into custody at the scene. Gledhill is also believed to be James Handy\u2019s girlfriend\u2019s son.<\/p>\n

The police later shared a statement saying, \u201cThe suspect flagged down nearby responding officers, telling them he was the one they were looking for. The suspect resides at the location with his mother, who is the victim\u2019s girlfriend. \u201c<\/p>\n

At this time, investigators have not publicly disclosed a motive, and the case remains under investigation. Officials have described the incident as isolated and say there is no ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n
