The\u00a0Scary Movie<\/em>\u00a0franchise has been a fan-favorite for many years. \u00a0The 2000 American parody film might not have won any Academy Awards, but for many, it\u2019s a cult classic that will live on for many years.<\/p>\n

One of the actors who got her big break through the film was Anna Faris. She was only 23 when the first movie was released, and since then, she has become a Hollywood star. A few days ago, she attended the premiere of\u00a0Scary Movie 6<\/em>, and many fans reacted strongly to\u00a0one detail in her appearance.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Scary Movie<\/em>\u00a0has made fun of and referenced many celebrities throughout its franchise. But in the latest film, one joke had to be removed. Who was it about? First Lady Melania Trump and her\u00a0Be Best<\/em>\u00a0initiative.<\/p>\n

Speaking with\u00a0Dexerto, Anna Faris revealed that the pointed joke at Melania had to be cut. Speaking with Dexerto, Anna Faris revealed that she tried to push her character, Cindy, into a \u201cclassic MAGA rabbit hole\u201d in the horror-comedy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe kind of person that you saw outside of the Walmart during quarantine that was raising some kind of crazy-ass fuss,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Anna Faris continued, \u201cThere was a moment where I am getting wasted, like so drunk. I am in my truck and I look into the rearview mirror and I say, \u2018Be best, Cindy Campbell. Be best. That didn\u2019t make it, but I liked my little winking there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, what are you gonna do? You gonna be mad at Cindy? I\u2019m in a movie that is truly the most offensive movie ever made, and I\u2019m the lead of it. And I participate in offensive ideas. I think I can kind of do anything. It liberated me,\u201d the actress concluded.<\/p>\n

Scary Movie 6<\/em>\u00a0was released on June 5. It went straight to the top of the box office, making an estimated $55 million in domestic ticket sales in its first weekend.<\/p>\n
