Donald Trump has been forced to delete a bizarre AI-generated picture of himself depicted as a Jesus-like figure to his Truth Social platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The US president has been known to share weird and controversial artificially generated content before, having previously shared the dystopian \u2018Trump Gaza\u2019 video on\u00a0social media.<\/p>\n

The disturbing clip, which was originally created as satire following\u00a0Trump\u00a0unveiling his property development plan for Gaza, showed the war-torn strip turned into a Dubai-like beach resort lined with skyscrapers.<\/p>\n

Now, the 79-year-old has taken it one step further, by sharing a peculiar AI picture of himself portraying Jesus.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s reported Trump shared the image in an attempt to criticize Pope Leo XIV, however the idea quickly backfired, prompting him to delete the post.<\/p>\n

The post came after the POTUS accused the Catholic leader of being \u2018weak on crime,\u2019 and said he was too influenced by Barack Obama\u2019s strategist David Axelrod.<\/p>\n

When people urged him to apologize to the pope, he said: \u201cHe went public. I\u2019m just responding to Pope Leo.\u201d<\/p>\n

The US-born pope previously made comments referring to a \u2018delusion of omnipotence\u2019 driving\u00a0US\u00a0foreign policy, specifically in reference to the war with Iran.<\/p>\n

While he didn\u2019t name Trump, the president appeared to take offence to the comments, saying the pop was \u2018catering to the radical left.\u2019<\/p>\n

The picture shared by Trump showed him with divine light emanating from his hands as he appears to heal a sick man in a hospital bed, which many people have taken to assume Trump is depicting Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

While this has sparked much backlash within the Christian community, it was the figure above Trump\u2019s head that really got people talking.<\/p>\n

At the top of the image, people quickly noticed what appeared to be a demon-like figure with horns floating in the background.<\/p>\n

Many people suggested the picture looked like it depicted a \u2018demon running away,\u2019 with the president eventually deleting the post after it was accused of being \u2018outrageous blasphemy.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat the heck is that creature in the middle?\u201d one person questioned, while another added: \u201cSorry, what is\u2026 that?\u201d<\/p>\n

A third commented: \u201cBible always mentions Satan is The Dragon with horns the Original Serpent and it also mentions there are many anti-Christ who are Fake Christians and worship the Devil.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI had Grok enhance it,\u201d a fourth added, \u201cit looks like a demon walking away.\u201d<\/p>\n

When questioned whether he was attempting to depict himself as Jesus, Trump said: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t a depiction, it was me. It\u2019s supposed to be me as a doctor making people better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I do make people better,\u201d he added. \u201cI make people a lot better.\u201d<\/p>\n

The controversial post did not go down well among Trump\u2019s Christian supporters, who have accused the president of \u2018outrageous blasphemy,\u2019 over the disturbing image.<\/p>\n

One of his long-time supporters Riley Gaines, a conservative commentator who hosts a Fox News podcast, said she \u2018cannot understand why he\u2019d post this,\u2019 and she\u2019s not the only one who feels this way.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs he looking for a response? Does he actually think this? Either way, two things are true,\u201d she continued in the post on X. 1) a little humility would serve him well 2) God shall not be mocked.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, conservative writer Megan Basham penned in the Daily Wire: \u201cI don\u2019t know if the President thought he was being funny or if he is under the influence of some substance or what possible explanation he could have for this.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to say the POTUS ought to \u201ctake this down immediately and ask for forgiveness from the American people and then from God.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her colleague Isabel Brown described the AI image as \u2018disgusting and unacceptable,\u2019 adding that \u2018nothing matters more than Jesus.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cThis post is, frankly, disgusting and unacceptable, but also a profound misreading of the American people experiencing a true and beautiful revival of faith in Christ,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, former supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene, who recently called for Trump to be removed from office, said: \u201cI completely denounce this and I\u2019m praying against it!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
