A group of friends at a Bachelorette party were left petrified after spotting a haunting detail in a celebratory picture.
A bride-to-be decided to celebrate her upcoming wedding with her loved ones on a remote estate in Scotland.
The women gathered in front of Loch Eck, Argyll to document their memories by taking a few pictures. But little did they know the snap would give them the shock of their lives…

According to The Mirror, the first picture revealed the women posing with cutout face masks.
However, the second image, which was taken moments after the first, showed them holding their arms in the air while clutching the same masks.
Once the friends took a closer look at the photograph, they spotted a small boy crouching behind a wooden stump that hadn’t been in the image taken seconds before.
It was reported that the friends researched the property’s past after noticing the dark-haired photobomber and uncovered a tragic tale of a child who reportedly drowned in a nearby lake after sleepwalking into it.

The haunting incident seems to echo the story of “The Blue Boy,” a television film broadcast on the BBC in 1994.
The story is about a four-year-old who drowned in Loch Eck. The film starred Oscar winner Emma Thompson and was allegedly shot at the same location where the photo was taken.
Screenwriter Paul Murton spoke about the first time he came across the unnerving story to The Herald in 1994: “I was talking to the hotelier about it and he mentioned The Blue Boy.”

“This, he said, was a young child who had been on holiday with his parents in the hotel and he had been sleepwalking during the night.
“He had strayed outside, fallen into the loch, and drowned. When they found his body it was blue with the cold,” he continued.
“Hotel staff had noticed that things like cutlery and plates were often out of place for no apparent reason – perhaps more sinister than that was the fact that they sometimes found wet footprints upstairs in the corridor,” Murton added.

Some Reddit users were not convinced that the picture was real.
“So why should we believe that there wasn’t a living, breathing, little boy there?” one user questioned. “Kinda looks photoshopped in,” a second added.
