Jessie J Finally Reveals Baby Daddy After Welcoming Son

Jessie J has finally revealed who the father of her baby is.

The ‘Price Tag’ singer, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, shared that she was pregnant in January 2023 and announced to fans that she had welcomed a son in May 2023.

Although fans were overjoyed to hear about Jessie’s baby news, many were left questioning who the baby daddy is – and now the singer has finally filled us in.

Jessie recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.

She underwent surgery in June, and thankfully her post-op test results showed no spread of the disease.

Throughout her journey, she’s been candid about both the ‘honest lows and highs,’ using her platform to process the diagnosis and connect with others facing similar battles.

The ‘Bang Bang’ singer has also been candid with fans about her fertility struggles, having previously been told she’d ‘never get pregnant.’

In 2021, the pop star was left devastated when she suffered a miscarriage.

At the time, she took to social media and penned: “Yesterday morning I was laughing with a friend saying, ‘Seriously though how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I am pregnant.’

“By yesterday afternoon I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down.

“After going for my third scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat.

“This morning. I feel like I have no control over my emotions. I may regret posting this. I may not. I actually don’t know.”

She continued: “I have done two shows in two years and my soul needs it. Even more today. I know some people will be thinking she should just cancel it. But in this moment I have clarity on one thing.

“I started singing when I was young for joy, to fill my soul and self-love therapy, that hasn’t ever changed and I have to process this my way.”

Jessie said she had decided to have a baby ‘on her own’ because it was ‘all she ever wanted.’

And in May of 2023, the singer confirmed she’d welcomed a baby with a partner.

“I am so happy and terrified to share this finally. Please be gentle with me,” Jessie wrote, announcing her pregnancy.

The celebrity couple teased their relationship for months.

In one of Jessie’s Instagram posts while still pregnant, celebrating the UK‘s Mother’s Day, she said: “I love your Daddy so much, you wouldn’t be on your way without him.

“He is the most patient, calm, and good-looking man.

“You are going to LOVE him when you meet him.”

And now, we have!

In another post, the pop star took to her Instagram story and penned a loving tribute to the father of her child, whose face remained obscure in the photo.

Jessie wrote: “I struggle to keep things private. I think if you know me you know that.

“I want to protect people I love and keep it for just myself… and then so often I think f*** it because life is short but I don’t want to regret it.”

The hitmaker went on to say that she quickly fell in love with her boyfriend after their first meeting.

She continued: “I met this man, weeks after my miscarriage in 2021, like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days.

“It was a whirlwind of love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue.

“Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life.”

Jessie revealed that her boyfriend was beside her when she gave birth to their child via C-section.

“He didn’t let go of my hand this day and I wouldn’t have been able to go through it without him,” she shared.

Concluding the heartfelt post, Jessie said her boyfriend is ‘the calm to my crazy. The peace to my fear. The daddy to my baby. Thank you.’

The ‘Do It Like a Dude’ singer also shared an adorable shot of her baby boy reaching out and holding her finger.

Jessie’s baby daddy is Chanan Safir Colman, as reported by E! News.

The Danish-Israeli professional basketball player is currently signed with Hapoel Haifa.
