A star of TV‘s The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air has tragically died.
Following news of his death, fans and friends took to social media to express their grief and share memories.
“First things first RIP,” one fan wrote on X.
“42 is far too young… sending love to his family and friends,” another posted.
“That’s sad news, so young, felt like life still had chapters left for him,” a third fan shared.
The Fellaship Men’s Group paid tribute to their co-founder on Instagram: “RIP to our good brother, one of our co-founders. Gone but never will be forgotten. The mission will continue in your honor. Next men’s meeting will be one for the books, like we talked about! Love you, bro, rest easy, big bro will take it from here.”

The actor made his on-screen debut in 1992 with a guest appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, portraying Young Will in a flashback sequence.
That same year, he landed his most substantial role as Marlon Jackson in the ABC miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream.
The two-episode appearance showcased his talent alongside established stars, including Angela Bassett, Vanessa Williams, and Billy Dee Williams.
The production chronicled the legendary Jackson family’s rise to fame, and Myers portrayed Marlon during his childhood years, between the ages of seven and nine.
The actor’s final credited acting role came in 2000 when he appeared as a student in an episode of The WB’s teen drama Young Americans, which co-starred Kate Bosworth and Ian Somerhalder. After this, Myers stepped away from the entertainment industry.

In recent years, he redirected his energy toward meaningful community work. He co-founded the Fellaship Men’s Group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing men’s mental and emotional health challenges.
According to the organization’s website, Fellaship creates ‘safe, judgment-free spaces for men to be seen, heard, and supported.’
The star was also an entrepreneur, owning and operating Dr. Duct, an air duct and dryer vent cleaning company in Maryland.
Floyd Roger Myers Jr., the actor known for playing a young Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, was also a proud father of four children, Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox.
His social media presence reflected his devotion to his family, with numerous photos showing him spending time with his children. In 2023, he shared a family photo with the caption: “A lot has changed yet so much has remained the same!!! Family Over Everything!! -MyersGang.”
His sister, Tyree Trice, described him as ‘a devoted father, loving brother, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and warmth touched everyone he met’ in a GoFundMe fundraiser established to help cover funeral expenses and support his children.

Myers had been candid about his health battles on social media. In July 2023, he posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed, revealing that he had recently been in a coma.
“Just a week ago, I was in a coma fighting for my life!!” he wrote. “The way my GOD works though. I’m beyond blessed and grateful to be alive!!”
Myers died at the age of 42 following a heart attack at his Maryland home.
Myers passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning, October 29, 2025, his mother, Renee Trice, confirmed to TMZ.
She revealed that she had spoken with her son just the night before his sudden passing.
Tragically, this was not Myers’ first cardiac event—he had suffered three heart attacks over the past three years, battling significant health challenges in recent times.
