Six-Year-Old Boy Saves Mom By Asking Delivery Driver For Help

Incredible footage from the moment a six-year-old boy saved his mom’s life has emerged, after he asked a hero delivery driver for help.

Viral footage of a young boy saving his mom’s life has gone viral, after their Ring doorbell captured the entire moment.

Six-year-old Aiden could be seen walking to the gate of his home in Northern Ireland to pick up an Amazon parcel, when the delivery driver was caught off guard.

Aiden asked him, ‘Excuse me. Can you help my mum?’

And without hesitation, the hero delivery driver entered their house and immediately dialled for medical assistance.

But it turned out that Aiden’s mom, Elizabeth Crooks, had been unconscious for almost 20 minutes prior to the arrival of the deliver driver.

The 26-year-old had suffered an episode of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), which caused her heart rate to spike to almost 180 BPM, causing her to faint.

Paramedics arrived soon after the delivery driver made the all-important call, and rushed the mom to hospital.

The clip has gone viral on social media, with many users commenting on the delivery driver’s kindness to let Aiden speak, while also praising the young boy’s quick-thinking.

Bryan, the delivery driver, responded to the video, saying: “That was me the delivery driver.

“I’m glad she is okay and she should be very proud of her kids.

“And for all wondering, I still have my job. Amazon was cool with it.”

One user replied: “You can see the urgency in the delivery driver’s actions!

“Not all heroes wear capes, some wear hi vis.”

Speaking to BelfastLive after the incident, Elizabeth said: “It was such a shock to the system.

“When I came round, all I could see was the high-visibility vest so I automatically thought it was the paramedics to be honest.”

She also revealed that prior to her son seeking help, he had wrapped her in a blanket and got her a bucket in case she needed to throw up.

She added: “I was so proud of Aidan – even saying ‘she’s fainted’, I don’t know if I’ve ever used that term.

“Now, he did break down crying in the ambulance, God bless him.

“Hopefully, it can remind other parents the importance of teaching them what to do.”
