New Horror Series That’s ‘Too Terrifying To Finish’ Is Being Called Scariest Show Anyone’s Ever Seen

People are saying a new horror series is ‘too terrifying to finish’ and it’s been branded the scariest show viewers have ever seen. 

From Gerald’s Game to Midnight Mass, there are tons of films and TV shows for those who enjoy a fright.

But if you’ve covered the most talked about horrors, it’s time to check out an underrated series that you may find too disturbing to finish.

Praising it on social media, one fan writes: “I love horror series, but this one is terrifying, scary!”

Another adds: “I think it’s the best show I’ve ever seen. I legit hold my breath while watching it.”

In agreement, a third comments: “One of the most underrated series I’ve ever watched, absolutely worth the time and investment.”

“Best horror thriller show I’ve seen in a long time, please go watch it,” enthuses a fourth.

The horror, which has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 96%, is also being widely praised by critics.

TV Fanatic‘s Whitney Evans penned: “It’s a moody, slow mystery that pulls you into its orbit and never lets you go. This is the horror series you’ve been missing from your life.”

While Jenny Nixon wrote for Common Sense Media: “It’s refreshing to see a high-concept, puzzle-type show feature so many horror elements, and the special effects in this series are suitably gross and chilling.”

“… one of the best shows on TV. It’s a terrifying puzzle that continuously raises the stakes,” Sharai Bohannon said on the Anatomy of a Scream podcast.

The series, created by John Griffin, stars Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Shaun Majumder, Scott McCord, and Ricky He, among others.

It follows people from a small town in North America who struggle to find a way out as unknown forces keep them from leaving.

The first two seasons of From are available to stream on MGM+ in the U.S. and U.K. viewers can watch via Now TV or Sky Go.

The highly-anticipated third season of the horror is expected to drop on September 22.

In the build-up to the new season, Michael Wright, head of MGM+, said in a statement: “The first two seasons of From captivated critics and terrified and engaged fans, who have formed a thriving online community that is trying to put the pieces together week by week as the secrets of the nightmarish town – and possibly beyond – are slowly revealed.

“We can’t wait for fans to see the surprises ahead in season 3, which promises more scares and mysteries, but also more answers.”
