As reported, the 51-year-old actress was at a parking lot in Santa Monica Beach, California, when she noticed a homeless man in a wheelchair.

Just last week, Garner made news for giving her father a ride in his childhood car to celebrate his 85th birthday. Now, her name is in the spotlight again, this time for an act that highlights her selflessness and caring spirit.
According to reports, Garner was at a car park in Santa Monica Beach earlier this week when she encountered a homeless man who clearly needed some assistance.
It’s reported that the actress rolled down her car window to speak with the unfortunate stranger. Not only did she hand the wheelchair-bound man a bag filled with essential items, but she also noticed that he was without shoes.

Realizing this, Garner got out of her car, knelt beside the man, and started putting socks on his feet.
Not stopping there, the star of 13 Going on 30 took off her own shoes and tried to give them to the man as well.
It quickly became clear that the shoes were too small, but Garner, not giving up, approached a nearby paparazzo who had been following her and asked for his help.
“What size do you wear?” she inquired, according to Page Six. “Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a pair.”
The photographer asked what size the man required, and Garner told him that the homeless man needed “10 and a half.”
“Oh, I’m an 11! Do you want me to give them to him? I can give them to him,” the paparazzo replied. To his credit, the photographer declined any payment from Garner and willingly gave up his shoes.
Naturally, Garner’s kindness probably won’t shock anyone who has closely followed her life and career. The actress has been a strong supporter of helping those in need, having teamed up with Save the Children for over ten years.
“Even though I didn’t grow up in poverty, I was always around it, and I often said I was just a generation and a holler away from rural poverty,” she shared with Southern Living.
“I went searching and found Save the Children. They are truly the leaders in assisting kids in rural America.”
