Emotional Tribute By Heart Leaves Crowd In Tears

There are moments when a music band becomes so famous that people try to cover their songs, but they can never really match what the original group achieved. This almost happened when Heart did their version of ‘Stairway to Heaven’.

Heart was present at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors to honor one of the best music groups ever, Led Zeppelin. Ann and Nancy Wilson were on stage with the son of Zeppelin’s late drummer, John Bonham.

The band performed a tribute to Led Zeppelin, and they did such an amazing job that even Robert Plant was in tears. It really touched the audience and the members of the rock band who were there.

At the beginning, Nancy Wilson started with the acoustic guitar intro. Ann Wilson wowed the crowd with her singing, and the song kept building up. They stayed true to the song but added their own special elements, like having a full gospel choir behind them.

Another thing that made the event special was that John Bonham’s son was playing guitar for the tribute. This added a lot of emotion and really affected the Led Zeppelin members, including Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones.

This was one of those musical moments that will not be forgotten for a very long time. Robert Plant has often hesitated about having people cover Stairway to Heaven, but he found this version to be touching to his heart.

Undoubtedly, Led Zeppelin has touched history with music, and people for generations will continue to appreciate what they did. This rendition, which was played in their honor, is something that will affect people for generations as well.
