Ozzy Osbourne’s Heartbreaking Final Post After Star Dies At 76

Ozzy Osbourne’s heartbreaking final post has been revealed, after the star died at the age of 76.

Just weeks after his final farewell show with Black Sabbath, the legend’s family announced that he had tragically died yesterday morning (22 July).

The emotional concert took place at Villa Park in Birmingham, U.K., the city where the band was born.

The 76-year-old was the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath in the early 1970s, and became known as the ‘Prince of Darkness’ due to his wild lifestyle and stage presence.

Announcing Osbourne’s death, his family wrote: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.

“Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

Tributes to the star poured in from friends and fans alike.

One said: “Rest in eternal peace Ozzy, no thanks will ever be enough.”

As another wrote: “Rest in Peace you legend. You’ll be sorely missed here!!!! See ya on the highway.

“Much love – thanks for the music and laughs!!!”

Despite being a staple of Black Sabbath, the icon was asked to leave the band in 1979, due to substance abuse issues.

He later launched a successful solo career.

Another fan noted: “Thank you for sharing your life with us. Love you and rest well.”

The Osbourne family also found fame with their hit reality TV show The Osbournes, which followed the crazy life of the rock family, with his wife and X-Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne.

Oshbourne said that he was determined to give fans the ‘perfect farewell’ during his final gig.

In 2020, Osbourne publicly revealed he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological condition that affects movement and coordination.

But the star had been battling the disease long before the announcement.

The star’s heartbreaking final post on Instagram has also been revealed.

Posted just one day before his death, the snap shows a backstage hallway with a poster that read: “Back to the Beginning — The Final Show.”

It also had the names of the original Black Sabbath lineup, that being Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne and Bill Ward.

It had no caption, but his song ‘Mr. Crowley‘ played in the background.

Earlier this year, the star was forced to cancel a series of European tour dates, due to the strain that the travel and tight schedule would have on his body.

Writing to fans, he said: “This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans.

“My singing voice is fine. However… I’m not physically capable of doing the upcoming tour dates.”

His final performance on July 5 had been decades in the making.
