The Entire Internet Was Fooled By Photos Of Female Olympic Swimmers With Controversial Slogans Written On Their Private Parts

Since they started late last month, the Olympics have been involved in significant controversies. Things began with the opening ceremonies, then transitioned to boxing, and now the latest controversy is officially here, and it involves photos of Olympic swimmers.

Swimming is one of the most challenging sports at the Olympics. This may explain why it has some of the game’s most famous athletes. When swimming, the athletes wear their custom-fitted swimsuits to help them swim better, and some fans seem to think they’re meant to portray messages as well.

Recently, pictures of the women’s swimming teams wearing suits with the words “Not a dude!” on the crotch have circulated on the internet. Many Olympic fans seem to believe these photos were taken in protest of the Olympic Committee’s allowing male athletes to compete in women’s sports.

The images of these Olympic swimmers have caused a lot of concern, with some fans believing that these photos were real when, in fact, they’ve been proven to be artificially generated. There is no exact source of who enlisted the AI to create them.

Obviously, with the many controversies, Olympics fans were bound to believe it. However, glancing at the photo may not tell the entire story. The hands are very messed up, which is extremely common in AI-generated photos.

It wasn’t just this one picture, as many circulated. One photo that fans thought was taken at the 2024 Olympics was from back in 2015, almost a decade ago. It was of the women’s swim team at the University of California Davis, not actual Olympic swimmers.

While these photos may continue circulating, none of the swimmers in the photo recreations have commented. While these photos may not be as viral as they could be, it’s still crazy to see what AI can do.
