Leland Brown Jr. and Breanna from Hatfield, Pennsylvania, have shared their unconventional lifestyle with their 178,000 TikTok followers, asserting, “Homelessness isn’t wrong if you’re looking at it from our perspective.”
The homeless couple prefers the term “houselessness” to “homelessness,” viewing it as a “flex” and showcasing their survival skills. Reactions to their choice have been mixed, with some applauding their independence while others question their decision.
Despite launching a GoFundMe campaign to seek financial stability, they have only raised $162 out of a $10,000 goal. Their past and current circumstances remain somewhat unclear, with conflicting reports about their employment history.
They claim to be “too smart” for traditional jobs, focusing instead on spending time with Leland Jr.’s son. Critics, however, suspect their lifestyle choice is more about avoiding responsibilities rather than a genuine embrace of homelessness.
