{-} Donald Trump: Then and Now – A Journey Through the Years…𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲

Donald Trump has remained one of the most recognizable and influential figures in American public life for decades.

Long before entering politics, he built a reputation as a real estate developer, businessman, and television personality. During the 1980s and 1990s, Trump became known for developing luxury hotels, office towers, golf courses, and other high-profile properties under the Trump brand. His role as host of The Apprentice further elevated his public profile, introducing him to millions of viewers and strengthening his image as a successful entrepreneur.

Trump entered politics as the Republican nominee in the 2016 presidential election, running on promises to strengthen the economy, tighten border security, renegotiate trade agreements, and put “America First.” His unexpected victory over Hillary Clinton made him the 45th president of the United States. During his first term from 2017 to 2021, his administration pursued tax reform, criminal justice reform, deregulation, judicial appointments, and a series of immigration and trade policy changes. His presidency also saw significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and intense political polarization.

After leaving office in 2021, Trump remained a dominant force within the Republican Party,

continuing to hold rallies and maintain strong support among many conservative voters. He launched another presidential campaign and won the 2024 election, returning to the White House as the 47th president of the United States in January 2025.

The phrase “Then and Now” reflects Trump’s remarkable evolution—from a New York real estate mogul and television celebrity to a two-term president whose influence extends across American politics and global affairs. Over the years, his appearance has changed with age, but his direct communication style, business-oriented approach, and willingness to challenge political norms have remained defining characteristics.

Whether admired for his policies and leadership or criticized for his rhetoric and decisions, Donald Trump continues to shape national conversations on the economy, immigration, foreign policy, and the role of government. His journey illustrates an extraordinary transformation from businessman to one of the most consequential and debated political figures in modern American history.
