The heiress, who welcomed her son, Phoenix, 22 months, and daughter London, 13 months, through surrogates with husband Carter Reum last year, recently revealed her son’s first words.
“His first word was ‘yas,’” Paris told Glamour in a joint interview with her best friend Nicole Richie published Dec. 5. “And then ‘mama.’”
And while Paris is a relatively new mom, she assures she’s a completely different person because of it, and couldn’t contain her pride over her two little ones.
“They’re just such little angels and have really changed my whole world, and just make me realize what’s most important in life,” she continued. “It’s love on another level, which I didn’t know I could feel. I’m just so grateful for them every day. They’re just so precious and smart and fun. They’re the cutest things on the planet.”
Indeed, Paris has shared insight into bonding with her little ones, even previously sharing one of her favorite activities to do with her son: watching The Simple Life.
“My little son laughs with me when we watch it,” she gushed to E! News last month. “It’s really sweet and he just perfected ‘Sanasa’ – he knows our song! So that’s pretty amazing.”
London, for her part, may need a few months to catch up to her big brother—but Paris did divulge that the 13-month-old finally got to meet Nicole in the flesh while the best friends filmed their new Peacock show Paris and Nicole: The Encore.
“It was really special to introduce Nicole to my baby, London, the first time,” Paris explained. “A really emotional moment for me.”
Nicole—who is mom Harlow, 16, and son Sparrow, 15, with husband Joel Madden—assured that she and London got on right away, adding, “She loves me.”
As for whether Paris is hoping her kids will take after her when it comes to her stardom? She would not be sliving for that.
“I hope that they’re not,” she told E! News in September. “It’s a lot. You need to be very strong. I am very strong and I know I’m going to raise them to be, but I just hope that they do what they want to do.”
For now, that means spending time with mom. Keep reading for more moments from Paris’ sweet little family.
