The UFC commentator had his say after the recent bout which Paul won.
UFC co-commentator Joe Rogan has offered some reflections on the recent fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson including revealing what he was happy to see following the bout.
Iron Mike fought Youtuber Paul in a boxing match earlier this month which divided opinion as Tyson took part in his first professional bout in almost 20 years and against somebody he is 30 years older than.
The duo met at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington in Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, on November 15 with the fight streamed live on Netflix.
Paul, 27, emerged victorious as he controlled much of the fight against the 58-year-old, whose body began to fail him as the fight wore on.
Paul did not aggressively pursue a knockout and even ended the fight, which was contested by eight two-minute rounds, by bowing towards his opponent, and he ended up winning via a unanimous decision victory.
Tyson, a former undisputed heavyweight champion, has now experienced defeat seven times in his career, five of which were by knockout, another being through disqualification, while a further two fights were no contests.
Tyson still has 50 wins under his belt, 44 of which have come by knockout, while five were by decision and another came through his opponent being disqualified.
Paul now has 11 victories to his name, seven of which were by knockout, with his sole defeat coming against Tommy Fury in February 2023 in Saudi Arabia on decision.

UFC colour commentator Rogan discussed the fight on the latest edition of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast with guest Josh Brolin.
Brolin said perhaps tongue in cheek that he thought the fight was ‘amazing’ before he began laughing, and Rogan went in to discuss the finances involved in the well-publicised fight.
Rogan said he heard the fighters got paid $20m and $40m, though he did not clarify which fighter he believed got paid what.
And Rogan revealed he was happy to see that Tyson, who is approaching the age of 60, did not get hurt during the bout and emerged from the ring unscathed after fighting a man who he is 30 years older than, admitting it had been a ‘fear’ of his ahead of the fight.
He said: “It’s amazing they got paid so much money for that. I think $20 million and $40 million, that’s what I heard.
“I’m happy that Mike got the money and I’m happy that he didn’t get hurt.
“That was my fear that it was a real fight and he’s going to get hurt.”
