Following his diagnosis of aphasia, a condition that hinders communication, Bruce Willis has chosen to stay out of the spotlight. His family has been forthcoming about his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and has been keeping his fans informed.

Following the announcement of Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, there has been progression in his condition, leading to a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
The family further added that as the actor’s cognitive abilities are affected more and more, doctors do all in their power to make things easy for him.
Emma Heming, the wife of Willis, collaborates with a dementia expert to ensure that the renowned actor from “Die Hard” receives optimal care. In 2022, she expressed, “My sorrow can be overwhelming, but I am discovering how to coexist with it. As my step-daughter, Scout Willis, wisely shared with me, grief embodies the most profound and unadulterated form of love. I trust that you may also find solace in that sentiment.”
Emma recently came across the new Instagram feature that allows users to rediscover photos and videos they have previously posted. She proceeded to share a memory of Willis complimenting her from just a year ago. In the caption, Heming exclaimed: “What is this new Memory feature on IG!? Oh my goodness, my number one fan. I adore him.”
Willis expressed his admiration for his wife’s skincare brand, Cocobaba, by stating that he is deeply fond of it.

Prior to the family disclosing Willis’ diagnosis, his colleagues observed that he struggled to recall the lines.
It posed more of a challenge rather than a nuisance, with the main concern being: ‘How can we ensure Bruce’s reputation remains untarnished?’
A crew member remarked on Willis in reference to his latest film, White Elephant, stating that someone would provide him with a line he didn’t comprehend, making him appear as if he was merely being controlled like a puppet.
